2. The provided picture is not copied, nor has any element owned by others.
3. The entire ownership rights of the picture, inclusive of the creative ideas portrayed, belongs to me.
4. The presented pictures rights, was not given (in any way), sold, allocated, licensed, or suspended to any other party that prevents using it.
5. I have obtained all the needed approvals from all concerned parties of the submitted picture, and has been granted the approval to publish it in books, publications or exhibitions under the conditions above.
6. I authorize and agree that the Award to display the submitted picture in exhibitions organized by the General Secretariat inside or outside the UAE.
7. I also agree that the Award or whoever it authorizes, to reproduce the participating picture, and publish them in various media channels, to promote the competition.
8. The terms and conditions of participating in the competition are definitive, and is considered as an acknowledgment and a prior approval of the above-mentioned.

The Award’s General Secretariat launched a competition which is unique of its kind at the regional and international levels to photograph the date palm tree. The competition’s title is «Date Palm Through the Eyes of the World» in cooperation with international specifications accredited by the International Federation of Photographic Arts (FIAP) and the Union of Arab Photographers (UAP), and Abu Dhabi International Association for Photography.

The competition aims to enhance the relationship between man and the date palm tree through employing the art of photography as a mean to develop the public awareness of the importance of the date palm tree. It aims as well to create an ample area to exchange expertise between photographers worldwide and to show the touristic, environmental and traditional elements of the date palm tree through the photograph and to encourage man›s ties with the land and agriculture.
